Bashir Jabbarov is the founder and head of the Eco Diving Youth Center, a youth-led initiative dedicated to protecting the Caspian Sea and raising awareness about marine ecology through diving, education, and community action.
Guided by a deep passion for nature, new technologies, and continuous learning, Bashir combines his love of diving with environmental leadership — inspiring other young people to actively care for and protect marine and coastal ecosystems.
Under his leadership, the center has launched several impactful initiatives, including “Breath of the Caspian”, which brings together underwater and coastal cleanups, ecological monitoring, and educational outreach to foster awareness and action.
Currently a student at an international school, Bashir is preparing for his university studies in a field that integrates technology, business, sustainability, and innovation. His vision is to cultivate a new generation of responsible, tech-savvy, and environmentally conscious youth dedicated to safeguarding the Caspian Sea and building a more sustainable planet.
Mehri Asaliyeva leads the design and event organization at the EcoDiving Youth Center, where creativity meets environmental purpose. She shapes the center’s visual identity and curates engaging events that connect young people with marine conservation and sustainable living.
A student at Azerbaijan British College, Mehri is the founder of the Design and Engineering Club, a student-led initiative that encourages creativity, innovation, and practical problem-solving through design thinking and technology.
She is also a winner of the COBIS “Reduce through Reuse” Design and Technology Competition, organized by Innovation Ben and Doha College, competing against over 45 international schools worldwide. Her award-winning solution reflected her commitment to sustainability, and innovation.
At the EcoDiving Youth Center, Mehri brings together art, technology, and environmental consciousness. Through her designs, events, and leadership, she continues to inspire her peers to think creatively and act responsibly — proving that design and innovation can be powerful forces for environmental change.
Daniel Jafarov coordinates technology initiatives at the EcoDiving Youth Center, ensuring that innovation supports the Center’s mission of marine conservation and youth engagement.
Beyond diving, Daniel is passionate about cybersecurity, coding, and data science. He has participated in several cybersecurity projects and events and currently works as an intern in the cybersecurity department of a national mobile operator.
Daniel plans to continue his studies at a European university, focusing on cybersecurity, digital infrastructure, and data science — combining his technical expertise with his commitment to sustainability and ocean protection.
