With the aim of contributing to environmental protection, increasing ecological responsibility in society, and encouraging public participation, the “Clean Country” cleanup campaign organized by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources was once again held on the Shuvalan coast of the Caspian Sea.
During the campaign, which brought together employees of the Ministry, representatives of the Eco Diving Youth Center, and volunteers, participants removed more than 450 kilograms of waste from the shoreline.
It should be noted that these cleanup campaigns, aimed at raising ecological awareness, will continue weekly throughout the season in Baku and other regions.
Bashir Jabbarov, Head of the Eco Diving Youth Center, stated that the “Breath of the Caspian” eco-project, implemented with the support of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources and the Khazar District Executive Authority, goes beyond waste collection, also organizing educational seminars and demonstrations for young people conducted by professional divers and ecologists.
